About Us
Government medical college Mahabubabad is one of the eight new medical Colleges announced and sanctioned by the Government of Telangana in June 2021.
Mahabubabad city is the district headquarters of the newly formed Mahabubabad district.
The college has received the Essentiality Certificate in July 2021.
The College is affiliated with KNR University of Health Sciences Warangal.
The Intake Capacity for MBBS Course will be 150 seats per year.
Separate boys and girls hostels provision is made for student’s accommodation.
The hospital attached to the college is multispeciality Government General Hospital (previously, known as District Headquarters Hospital / Area Hospital). The present bed capacity is 330 beds.
All the specialty and tertiary care services are available in the hospital.
